Dora Dalila Cheffi

Finnish-Tunisian artist Dora Dalila Cheffi was born in Helsinki in 1990 and currently lives and works in Tunis. She graduated with a BA from Aalto University School of Art, Design, and Architecture in 2018, with a minor in sculpting and painting. She also graduated from Pekka Halonen Academy in 2014 with a concentration in photography. Her first solo exhibition ‘Bitter Oranges’ occurred in Tunis in February 2020. Her first online solo ‘Screenshots of Novel Realities’ occurred with The Other Space by Andersen’s Contemporary in June 2020. Her work was part of ‘Summer Show’, a group exhibition with Selma Feriany Gallery in Tunis in August 2020. Her online solo ‘Imitating Equilibrium’ with Taymour Grahne Projects occured in November 2020. Her artworks are part of the Kamel Lazaar Foundation collection, the permanent collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art Al Maaden (MACAAL), the Beth Rudin DeWoody collection, as well as private collections in Amsterdam, Helsinki, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Seoul, Tunis, and Zurich.
