The product of Caribbean/Indian/Filipino/Welsh heritage, Cardiff singer and producer Kiddus’ musical styling is as eclectic as his upbringing. He mixing soul, punk, afrobeat, indie-pop and drills it into a beautiful monster, struggling free of any defined musical genre. Embracing a DIY spirit in every aspect, Kiddus’ distinct production and lyrics are paired with cryptic homemade visuals that leave the R&B bangers feeling more like fleeting messages from a different dimension.
PAIR was recorded in Kiddus' room during a heatwave in Summer 2020. His computer would often overheat and would playback the song loud and distorted every time it crashed. Kiddus thought it sounded good though, so he took that energy and ran with it.
