Maison Kitsuné is pleased to welcome “AERIAL THOUGHTS”, an exclusive exhibition by NY-based photographer Kate Owen.

Kate Owen seeks out moments of unexpected joy in the pictures that she makes. Nothing beats a great pop of color, a sharp line, and if it’s a two-for-one, then even better. Her work often reveals a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, and she hopes you can join her in the fun with a sly smile.

The pictures featured here are part of an ongoing series titled, “AERIAL THOUGHTS”, a playful series of work that questions how our understanding of words and phrases can change with a subtle digression in context, verb tense, spelling or by the picture accompanying it. The images are fun and alive, and a celebration of life and all of its quirks.
